Do Not Stand By My Grave And Weep
by Mary Elizabeth Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.

The Official Site of Greenlawn Cemetery Association
Greenlawn Cemetery has many acres of land yet to be developed. We pride ourselves in offering the most beautiful interment spaces found anywhere in the Tiffin area. Whether you are in an immediate need situation, or are pre-planning your final arrangements, we have something to meet everyone’s needs. We have special areas for single graves with marker restrictions and other areas with eight to 10 grave lots with no marker restrictions. We are currently planning a cremation area.
To schedule an appointment to view our available graves, please call Greenlawn Cemetery at 419-447-2010. Volunteers staff the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 AM until 2 PM. You may leave a message on other days as messages are reviewed daily by our full time grounds superintendent. Payment plans for purchase of interment spaces are available.
November 2017 Storm Damage Update
On November 5, 2017 Greenlawn Cemetery was impacted by a catastrophic severe weather event. The high wind event caused more than 55 trees throughout the cemetery grounds to be toppled over and damaged. The damage also included more than 250 headstones, chapel windows, chapel roof, the office, and the maintenance building. Greenlawn Cemetery staff, volunteers, and board of directors, along with community volunteers have been aggressively working to clean the cemetery and restore to its former beauty. Please visit the storm damage page for a slideshow of the pictures.
